GREENSBORO, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University track and field program had five student-athletes advance to the finals at the Aggie Last Chance meet hosted by North Carolina A&T on May 12 in Greensboro, N.C.
Regina Summerville finished in second place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.62, while fellow hurdler Delesha Conquest finished behind Summerville for third place at 1:03.21 for the Lady Eagles.
Jasmine Wanamaker placed fourth with a time of 13.65 seconds in the 100m hurdles.
On the men’s side, senior Willie Calvin finished in third place in the high jump with a jump of 2.05 meters (6’8.75”).
In the 400m hurdles, Kevin Vincent posted a time of 53.78 seconds for sixth place.
This is the Eagles’ last meet before the NCAA East regional championships on May 23-25 in Greensboro, N.C.
