DURHAM, N.C - The North Carolina Central University Lady Eagles softball team will host a weekend-long “Eagle Challenge” at Parkwood Athletic Field in Durham, N.C., on March 8-10. The participating teams include: Presbyterian College, UNC-Wilmington, Liberty University, and event host NCCU.
The Lady Eagles open up the tournament on Friday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. against Presbyterian (8-9). That game will be followed by a doubleheader of UNCW (6-11) against Presbyterian at 1:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
On Saturday, March 9, the Lady Eagles will start play at 2:00 p.m. as they take on Liberty (5-7). At the conclusion of that contest, Liberty faces UNCW at 4:15 p.m. The Lady Eagles will end play for that day with a 6:30 p.m. match-up against UNCW.
The “Eagle Challenge” will wrap up on Sunday, March 10 with a doubleheader between the Lady Eagles of NCCU and Liberty at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
