DURHAM, N.C. (www.NCCUEaglePride.com) – The North Carolina Central University women’s volleyball team welcomes Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference foes, Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman, this weekend to McDougald-McLendon Gymnasium. The Eagles will take on the Lady Rattlers on Friday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m., followed by the Lady Wildcats on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
During the Sunday match-up against BCU, the Eagles will be honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month. NCCU will compete with a pink volleyball, the maroon & gray cheerleaders will be in attendance dressed in pink and Breast Cancer Awareness facts will be announced throughout the game. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink to the event.
