EAGLE TALK TO AIR LIVE FROM DEVINE’S SPORTS CORNER AND GRILL

Fans are invited to take a late lunch and listen to the show

DURHAM, N.C. (www.NCCUEaglePride.com)- The 30-minute weekly talk show titled “Eagle Talk,” dedicated to giving an inside look at all 14 intercollegiate sports at North Carolina Central University, is changing venues to Devine’s Sports Corner and Grill, located at 904 West Main Street in downtown Durham in Brightleaf Square. The show will coincide with head coach Mose Rison’s weekly press conference, which will take place at its usual time 1:30 p.m. at the restaurant.

The show will still air on Rejoice 1410 AM from 2:00 to 2:30 on Tuesday afternoon, and Eagle fans are encouraged to come out, enjoy the show and grab a bite to eat. This will last through the end of football season.

“This is not only another step in continuing to spread the good word of NCCU athletics, but it allows us to reach out to people in the Durham community who may not be aware of all the great things that are going on at this institution,” said NCCU Director of Athletics Dr. Ingrid Wicker-McCree. “Going out in the community is a wonderful way to market NCCU, and Devine’s establishment is an ideal place for that to take place.”

Eagle fans may submit questions via e-mail or to the host at the restaurant for consideration to be answered live on-air. Questions may be e-mailed to whooks@nccu.edu.

For listeners outside the Durham area, the show will be streamed online at www.NCCUEaglePride.com, and will be archived for those who missed the live show and want to tune in at a later time.
