2012: Edwards had a very effective year with 44 starts and 44 appearances ... She was second on the team with a .301 batting average with 34 hits and 9 runs scored with 113 at bats ... She was also second with 3 home runs and third on the team with 5 doubles ... Her slugging percentage was .425 which was second on the team and she obtained an on base percentage of .370 which was third on the team ... Her fielding percentage was .926 with 78 putouts, 60 assists and 11 errors ... She also had 8 multiple hit games and 4 multiple RBI games ... Her best complete game was on Feb. 11th where she went 2-for-3 at the plate with three RBIS, 2 runs scored , a double and a home run ... She also had 4 putouts in the game .

2010: In her freshman tenure, started and appeared in 42 games ... She attained a batting average of .213 with 23 hits and 13 runs scored in 108 at bats ... Her slugging percantage was .263 with 1 home run and 10 RBI ... She was a perfect 3-for-3 in steals and had an on base percentage of .267 ... In the field, she had a fielding percentage of .923 with 44 putouts and 4 assists ... One of her most productive games as a Freshman was on Feb. 26 against Delaware State when she 2-for-2 at the plate with 2 hits and 2 runs scored ... She also had a home run in the game and two walks ... She also had a great day at the plate against South Carolina State on Feb. 28 when she went 4-for-4 with a RBI and 3 runs scored .

High School: Attended South Central High School ... Was a three-time All-Conference selection ... Was a two-time All-State selection ... Was named Offensive Most Valuable Player ... Helped lead her team to a 2008 3A State Championship title, a 2008 Regional Championship title and a 2008 Conference Championship title ... Was a member of the Spanish Honor Society ... Was named to the A/B Honor Roll.
