Kaitlyn Macon was named an NCCU student assistant softball coach in September of 2021 after being a four-year letter winner for the Eagles from 2018-2021.
Macon played in 92 games over her four seasons with the Eagles Macon posted a career .263 on-base percentage with totals of 15 runs, 14 RBI and three stolen bases as a utility catcher and infielder.

The Harrisburg, North Carolina, resident was awarded the Debra Saunders-White Leadership Award as a senior. Macon also earned MEAC All-Academic Team status in her undergraduate career with the Eagles.

Macon is working on a behavioral and social sciences degree at NCCU.Â
