Ali Ramirez


Ali Ramirez joins the NCCU softball coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2019. 

Ramirez comes to NCCU after a successful playing career at East Carolina University. The first baseman played in 158 games for the Pirates, including 149 starts, and was a career .250 hitter with a .416 slugging percentage, 65 RBI, 52 runs scored and 34 extra-base hits. 

The native of Pittsburg, California, played prep ball at Heritage High School and was a First Team All-BVAL honoree for three straight years (2011-13). She was named All-East Bay in back-to-back years (2012-13) and hit .509 as a senior while also lettering in basketball before becoming Heritage Athlete of the Year. 

Ramirez graduated from ECU with a bachelors degree in history with a minor in ethnic studies. She is currently working on her master's degree in recreation administration at NCCU.
