2024-25: All-MEAC Second Team... MEAC All-Academic Team... CSC Academic All-District Team... Won the doubles MEAC Invitational in the fall for a chance to represent the conference at the ITA Masters with Hugo Hidalgo Vega... Finished as runners-up in the consolation draw at the ITA Masters... 10-12 singles record, 3-2 in MEAC action... 15-5 in No.1 doubles... Non-conference victories: Davidson, St. Thomas Aquinas and Niagara... MEAC wins: Coppin State, Morgan State and Howard.    

Prior to NCCU (Chicago State University 2022-2024): 
2023 and 2024 ITA Scholar-Athlete… Played No.2 and 3 Singles… 6-16 Singles record… 7-8 Doubles record… Singles victories over Northern Illinois, Toledo, St. Louis, Southern, Eastern Illinois and IUPUI… Made the dean’s list while at Chicago State.

Personal: Born in Porto, Portugal. Majoring in business management at NCCU. Hobbies include traveling, playing soccer and trying different foods. Alves has a twin brother.
