High School (Green Hope H.S.): Was a member of the state championship winning squad in 2018, and was a state finalist in 2020. Won two conference and regional championships. Played No. 1 singles and doubles. Academically, he earned the President’s Award, was a NSHSS invited member, and an honor roll student.
Personal: Born in Ambasamudram, India. Parents are Bharathy Sankarasubramanian and Udaykumar Ponnurangam. Plays tennis left handed, but is ambidextrous. Enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends. Majoring in biomedical sciences at NCCU.
