Kendall Wallace is in his second season as North Carolina Central head men's and women's golf coach.

The All-NEC selections were two of several highlights for the Eagles in the 2024-25 season. The NCCU women won the Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Classic and finished a best-ever fourth at the NEC Championship. Ahing was on the NEC All-Tournament women's team for the second straight year. On the men's side, Hutchison captured the Arcis HBCU Championship with a four-under 176 including a three-under 69 in the first round.
That same year, NCCU captured the NEC Women's Golf Team Sportsmanship Award and five Eagles' golfers earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators. All thirteen NCCU golfers made the NEC Spring Academic Student-Athlete Honor Roll.
Before he was named NCCU's head coach in September 2024, Wallace was a top golfer and team captain for the Eagles as a student-athlete from 2022-24. Wallace helped the Eagles finish fourth in the men's NEC Championship, the highest in program history, and tied for the third-lowest round in Eagles' history with a 69 at the 2023 SAS Championship HBCU Invitational. In the 2023-24 season, Wallace averaged 77.0 per round, fourth-best on the team.
