2012 - SENIOR SEASON
Topped the MEAC and ranked third among national leaders in the NCAA-Division I-FCS with 16 passes defended, an average of 1.45 per game. Matched the conference-high and tied for ninth among FCS leaders in interceptions with five picks for 90 return yards. Contributed 54 total tackles (38 solo), including 2.0 hits for a loss. Blocked two kicks. In arguably the best game of his career, amassed career-high 12 tackles (9 solo), four pass break ups and a rejected field goal attempt in overtime to seal a homecoming victory over Delaware State (Nov. 3). Intercepted two passes and added a pass deflection with two tackles against South Carolina State (Oct. 6) during the Circle City Classic inside Lucas Oil Stadium. Collected seven takedowns (five solo) along with an interception at Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 27).
2011 - JUNIOR SEASON
Played in all 11 games, including four as a starting cornerback. Tied for eighth on the team with 36 tackles (25 solo), including 1.5 hits for a loss with a solo sack. Topped Eagles with two fumble recoveries and two blocked kicks, while tying team-high with two interceptions. Collected five total passes defended (2 interceptions, 3 pass break-ups). Chosen as the MEAC Defensive Player of the Week after preventing 17 potential points at Delaware State (Nov. 5), blocking a 38-yard field goal, intercepting a pass in the end zone to prevent a go-ahead touchdown, and intercepting a second pass inside the Eagles’ 5-yard line to end another DSU scoring threat, while adding a pass break-up and six solo tackles on the day. Recorded six tackles (five solo), including a solo sack, at South Carolina State (Oct. 8). Capped junior campaign with five solo stops against rival North Carolina A&T (Nov. 19).
2010 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in all 11 games. Finished season with 15 tackles (11 solo), including an unassisted sack, three pass break-ups, an interception and two blocked kicks. Amassed season-high seven takedowns (four solo) with a sack and a pass deflection at Savannah State (Nov. 13). Tallied four tackles (three solo) at Delaware State (Nov. 6). Collected three solo tackles, an interception, two pass break-ups and a blocked field goal try versus Old Dominion (Nov. 20).
2009 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in nine games. Collected four total tackles and two pass break-ups. Recorded a solo stop and two pass deflections versus Central State (Oct. 31). Recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown against Central Methodist (Oct. 17).
2008 - REDSHIRT SEASON
Sat out during his first year at NCCU.
EAST BLADEN HIGH SCHOOL
Selected all-conference and all-state. Amassed 1,100 all-purpose yards and seven interceptions as a senior.
