Racked up a season-high 10 strikeouts in back-to-back wins against South Carolina State (March 19-20) ... Pitched complete-game victories on back-to-back days in the 2023 MEAC Softball Championship, defeating UMES and Coppin State (May 10-11) ... Ranked second on the team with 29 runs scored ... Also tallied five doubles, two home runs and 15 RBI ... Recorded her first collegiate hit in a two-hit performance against USC Upstate on Feb. 11, which was one of l11 multi-hit performances on the season ... Scored a season-high three runs in a game against Delaware State (April 2) and then went a perfect 4 for 4 from the plate with two RBI a day later in another games against the Hornets (April 3) ... Had a 10-game hit streak ... Stole a pair of bases in two different games ... Hit her first collegiate home run against Towson (Feb. 12) ... Batted .625 with 10 hits in 16 plate appearances with four RBI and seven runs scored on the way to earning her MEAC Rookie of the Week award ... From the pitcher's circle, Davis led NCCU with a 5.66 ERA in 22 appearances (14 starts) ... Tallied 58 strikeouts over 81.2 innings pitched ... Seven complete games ... Four Wins (4-8) ...
