2024-25: All-MEAC First Team... 2025 NCCU men's Student-Athlete of the Year... MEAC All-Academic Team... CSC Academic All-District honors... Three-time MEAC Player of the Week (Feb. 5, March 6 & March 19)... Earned national ranking during the season at 111th by ITA in February after defeating the 38th ranked player from Duke... Finished the season ranked 18th in the Carolina Region by ITA... Won the doubles MEAC Invitational in the fall for a chance to represent the conference at the ITA Masters with Rodrigo Alves... Finished as runners-up in the consolation draw at the ITA Masters... 15-5 singles record at the No.1 position, 4-1 when facing MEAC competition... 13-4 doubles record in No.1 slot, 4-1 in conference... Non-conference victories: #12 Duke, UNCG, Fairleigh Dickson and Norfolk State... MEAC triumphs: Norfolk State, Coppin State, Howard and South Carolina State  

2023-24: MEAC Player of the Year… All-MEAC First Team selection… MEAC All-Academic Team honors… Named Most Valuable Player for men’s tennis by NCCU Athletics… Five-time MEAC Player of the Week (Feb. 24, March 8, March 28, April 4, April 11)... Ended the season on a 16-match winning streak… Competed at No.1 Singles and No.2 Doubles… Non-conference singles victories over Hampton, Queens, BYU, UNC Asheville, Charleston, North Carolina A&T, Davidson, UNC Greensboro and Shaw.

Prior to NCCU:
Competed in No.5 and 6 singles while attending Chicago State University. Went 12-7 in singles and 3-4 in doubles. Recorded the most singles conference victories in the Spring 2023 season to lead his team (four). The first player in Chicago State history to win a main draw match at the ITA Regional Championships in 2022.

Born in Madrid, Spain. Son of Raul Hidalgo Burgos and Susana Vega Alite. Enjoys playing videogames, sports, and is interested in cars. Describes himself as sociable and kind. Majoring in business management.
