Biography

2010 - JUNIOR SEASON
    Played in 10 games, including two of the last three contests as a starter. Caught one pass for 11 yards against Edward Waters (Oct. 30).

2009 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
    Appeared in nine games. Had one reception for four yards versus Morehead State (Sept. 19).

2008 - FRESHMAN SEASON
    Started at tight end for the Eagles after the second game of the season. Grabbed two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown. Credited with a solo tackle. Made a 7-yard reception in his first college game vs. Fayetteville State (Aug. 31). Scored on a 5-yard reception against rival North Carolina A&T (Oct. 4) in his hometown.

PHILLIP O. BERRY ACADEMY
    Selected All-Conference and Team Defensive Player of the Year. Topped team with 13 sacks, including three games with 3 or more sacks. Led team to first two playoff appearances in school history. Team Captain for both football and basketball. Lettered in football, basketball, baseball, wrestling and tennis. Served as Senior Class President. Member of the National Honor Society.
