2015 - REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON
Played in all 11 games with six starts. Ranked second on the team with 5.0 sacks. Collected 27 total takedowns with 7.5 tackles for a loss, along with two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Amassed season-high six tackles with a hit for a loss at FIU (Sept. 19). Recorded five tackles with 3.0 sacks, a forced fumble and two quarterback hurries vs. Delaware State (Nov. 7). Totaled five tackles, including 2.5 hits for a loss and 1.5 sacks, with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery vs. Morgan State (Oct. 24).

2014 - REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played 11 games as a defensive lineman.  Recorded 15 tackles with 8 solo stops and 7 assists, along with 3.0 tackles for a loss and forced one fumble.  Was responsible for 1.5 sacks, picking up first career solo takedown against Hampton (Nov. 8).  Tallied a season-high three tackles twice, with three assists, one tackle for a loss and half of a sack at East Carolina (Aug. 30) and three solo hits at Morgan State (Oct. 18).  Returned one kickoff for seven yards against Savannah State (Oct. 25).

2013 - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in all 12 games, including 7 as a starter on the defensive line. Recorded 41 tackles (19 solo) on the season. Tied for third on the team with 8.5 hits for a loss. Collected season-best 5 tackles three times - at Duke (Aug. 31), at Hampton (Nov. 9) and at North Carolina A&T (Nov. 23). 

THOMAS DALE HIGH SCHOOL
Selected First-Team All-District and Second-Team All-Region. Voted as team’s Defensive Player of the Year. Team won 2009 state championship with 12-2 record. Earned academic award for GPA higher than 3.0.

PERSONAL
Born August 24, 1994 in Heidleburg, Germany.  Parents are Gregory and Karen Spruill.  Major at NCCU is criminal justice.
