2009 - JUNIOR SEASON
Led the Eagles with 70 tackles (31 solo). Fourth on the squad with 6.0 hits for a loss, including a sack. Second on the team with 9 passes defended (3 INTs, 6 PBUs). Tallied 3 quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble. Played in all 11 games, including 10 as a starter. Collected six or more tackles in nine contests. Voted as the team’s defensive MVP. Amassed season-high 12 tackles (8 solo) with an interception returned 19 yards to set up a touchdown at Old Dominion (Nov. 7). Recorded 8 takedowns twice - at North Carolina A&T (Oct. 3) and against Savannah State (Nov. 21). Became the first of the season to intercept All-American quarterback Armanti Edwards of nationally-ranked Appalachian State (Oct. 10), returning the pick 35 yards to set up a score, while adding 6 tackles, a fumble recovery, a pass deflection and a quarterback hurry.
2008 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Placed sixth on the squad with 43 tackles (16 solo). Added 3.0 hits for a loss, a pass deflection and a fumble recovery. Tallied at least one tackle in all 11 games. Recorded a career-best 9 takedowns at #8 James Madison (Sept. 6). Collected 7 stops (4 solo) with a recovered fumble at #3 Cal Poly.
2007 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Collected 13 tackles (7 solo), including 2.5 tackles for a loss. Recorded a season-best 6 tackles (4 solo) at North Carolina A&T (Sept. 22). Tallied 3 tackles (2 solo), including a hit for a loss, versus Elizabeth City State (Sept. 15) in Giants Stadium.
CONCORD HIGH SCHOOL
Two-time All-Conference selection. Amassed 156 tackles as a senior. Team won conference and state championships in 2004 and 2006.
