LuAnn Edmonds-Harris serves as Assistant Athletics Director for Administration and Head Cheerleading Coach at North Carolina Central University.
Edmonds-Harris obtained her bachelor of arts degree in theater arts at North Carolina Central University in 1975. She is a member of The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA), NCCU Alumni Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
During her professional tenure at NCCU, which started in 1986, Edmonds-Harris has also held titles as an Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions (1996-2008); Admissions Counselor (1986-1996); and Cheerleader Coach (1991-Present).
Edmonds-Harris is a native of Durham, N.C., where she currently resides.
Throughout the history of NCCU, a member of her family has worked under the leadership of one of the Presidents/Chancellors from founder Dr. James E. Shepard to current Chancellor, Charlie Nelms.
She is married to Larry J. Raley and has one son, Andrew E. Harris, III (Trei) and two stepchildren, Latoya and Jermaine Miller of Pageland, S.C.
