Student Tickets

Below you will find general information regarding student tickets and instructions on how to claim a student ticket.
  • Full-time students (12 hours for undergraduate, 9 hours for graduate) are eligible for 1 complimentary ticket to any ticketed regular season home NCCU Athletic Event
    • Student Ticket eligibility is reassessed at the beginning of every semester (Fall & Spring).
  • Student tickets are not guaranteed for every home event, and high-demand events will use a lottery to distribute tickets fairly
    • For high-demand games such as Homecoming, once the allotment of student tickets in the stadium runs out, tickets in the lawn area will be available for students to claim.
      • The lawn area is a great alternative for students who are unable to secure a stadium seat, but who want to experience the game day atmosphere!
  • Student tickets are non-transferable. Screenshots will not be accepted.
  • Selling student tickets is prohibited. Students caught selling student tickets may lose their rights to student tickets.
  • Student tickets can be claimed and managed through the student portal on TicketReturn.com/NCCU
    • The TicketReturn student portal is a different website than the public TicketReturn site.
  • Student ticket lotteries and ticket claim periods begin around 5-7 days before each game.
    • Eligible students will receive an email informing them when tickets are available. The student ticketing site on TicketReturn will also have dates and times when tickets can requested/claimed.
  • Any changes the Ticket Office makes about the distribution of student tickets will be communicated via email correspondence.
  • The student section at O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium is in Section D. Only students can sit in that section.
    • Once the student section is full, students with a student ticket can sit in any general admission section (Sections A, B, F, G-Q).
  • The student section at McDougald-McLendon Arena is located on the courtside bleachers across from the team benches. Student ID will be required to access that section.
    • Overflow will be in any General Admission Section 1, 4-13, and 16.
