1995-96 HIGHLIGHTS
- Men's basketball won the CIAA Southern Division title for the third time in four years, qualified for the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regionals, and finished with a 20-7 overall record.
- LeVelle Moton named CIAA Player of the Year, CIAA All-Tournament Team, and NCAA Division II All-America Honorable Mention, finishing third on NCCU's All-Time Scoring List with 1,714 Points. Most importantly, as head coach Greg Jackson always says, will Graduate in the Spring.
- Indoor track qualified four student-athletes for the NCAA Division II Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a team, the Lady Eagles tied for 19th in the nation.
- Nzinga Poteat qualified for the finals and finished 8th in the women's 800-meter run.
- Elisha Marshall was the fastest American runner in the women's 55-meter dash, placing third behind two foreign athletes and earning All-America honors.
