2012-13: Appeared in 28 games starting in three … Averaged 9 minutes, two rebounds and one point per contest … Shot 11-for-27 from the field at 41 percent and  6-for-8 from the charity stripe at 75 percent … Blount collected 57 total rebounds, 28 points, 14 steals and two blocks … Had her best performance against Maryland Eastern Shore on Feb. 4 where she led the team with 14 rebounds and amassed nine points.  

High School:
All-area first-team pick by the Sun Journal of New Bern... Averaged 19.6 points per game... Also played volleyball and participated in track and field... Placed first in the Triple Jump at NCHSAA 1A State Track Championship... Sun Journal Volleyball player of the year... All conference pick... Recipient of  the Wendy High School Heisman and DST award... A member of NHS... Was an Honor Roll student... An honors high school  graduate... President of her class (2011).

Born June 10, 1993 in New Bern, N.C. ... A member of her church choir... Enjoys being with family and traveling... First female in her hometown to be a part of a collegiate sport... Majoring in Psychology/ Child Developement and Family Relations.
