Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2014-15):
Played 19 rounds in nine events. Posted a scoring average of 80.7 per round. Carded rounds in the 70s 10 times, including a season-low 75 in the opening round of the Savannah State Fall Tiger Invitational (Nov. 7). Recipient of the NCCU Golf Coach's Award and Academic Award.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14):
Competed in 20 rounds during eight events. Recorded a scoring average of 80.3 per round. Tallied 10 rounds in the 70s, including six in-a-row. Shot 76-76-79 to place 17th at MEAC Championship (April 25-27). Earned low round of 75 twice. Recipient of NCCU Golf Coach's Award.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13):
Played 20 rounds in eight events. Recorded a scoring average of 82.4 shots per round. Received NCCU Golf “True Grit” Award, recognizing leadership, sportsmanship and pride. Carded season-low score of 73 (+1) in the second round of the MEAC Showcase (April 13-14). Tied for 16th place at the Virginia State Trojan Fall Classic (Oct. 15-16). Closed out season with scores of 76 (+4) and 79 at the PGA Minority Collegiate Championship (May 10-12).
HIGH SCHOOL (Powers Catholic):
Recipient of the Bill Dickey Scholarship... Honored as First Team All-Big Nine during his senior year... Placed seventh in states... Ranked top 10 in the Farmington Hills tournament... Placed second in TMGA tournament.
