North Carolina Central University Athletics

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14):
Limited to 10 rounds in four events due to injury. Tallied a scoring average of 83.1 per round. Carded a season-best 77 at Savannah State Tiger Fall Invitational (Nov. 9), finishing the event tied for 23rd out of 56 golfers. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13):
Played 20 rounds in eight events. Posted a scoring average of 83.2 per round. Shot a season-low 76 twice - the second round of the Joe Agee Invitational (Sept. 24) and the first round of the Bash at the Beach Invitational (March 11). Tallied four rounds in the 70s. 

HIGH SCHOOL (Westside):
Four-year letterwinner at Westside High School in Augusta, Ga. Team won 4-A region and state championships in 2008. Team finished as 3-A runner-up in 2011 and 2012. Named Westside H.S. Senior Athlete of the Year. Also lettered in basketball, football, track and tennis. Earned Navy Junior ROTC academic honors and MOAA (Military Officers Association of America) award.

OTHER AMATUER:
Member of The First Tee of Augusta since the age of 9. Earned playing spots in the Champions Tour’s Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, the Golf Channel Invitational for The First Tee and the Am/Am event at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. Carded low round of 66 twice.

PERSONAL:
Born August 4, 1994, in Augusta, Ga.  Son of Gary and Richelle Carpenter. Major at NCCU is Exercise Sport Science.
