North Carolina Central University Athletics

AS A JUNIOR (2012-13):
Played 20 rounds in eight events. Posted a scoring average of 83.5 per round. Recorded an even-par 72 in the opening round of the Black College Hall of Fame Invitational (Sept. 29-30), followed by a 75 to place 15th out of 56 golfers. Tied for 12th place out of 44 golfers at the Virginia State Trojan Fall Classic (Oct. 15-16) with scores of 81 and 77.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12):
Played 20 rounds in eight events. Tallied a scoring average of 80.6 per round. Shot a season-low round of 70 (-1) for a two-day total of 149 to place third at the WSSU Spring Invitational on April 8. Recorded nine rounds in the 70s.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11):
Played 18 rounds in seven events. Recorded a scoring average of 84.3 per round. Carded a season-low round of 74 (+3) in the second round of the MEAC Showcase in Savannah, Ga. on April 11. Posted a two-day total of 157 (+15) to place fifth at the Winston-Salem State Ram Challenge on April 3. Tallied three rounds in the 70s (78-77-79) to finish in a tie for 27th place at the PGA Minority Collegiate Championship in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Closed rookie campaign with five consecutive rounds in the 70s.

HIGH SCHOOL (Hillside):
Earned PAC-6 All-Conference honors as a senior in 2010. Posted a nine-hole average of 39 as a senior. Member of the Hillside Honor Society. Received Musicianship Award as a member of the band.

PERSONAL:
Born February 2, 1992 in Durham, N.C. Parents are Andre and Wanda Jones. Major at NCCU is Biology with a minor in Music. NCCU Chancellor’s Scholar.
