2010 - JUNIOR SEASON
Started at cornerback in all 11 games. Topped Eagles with three interceptions. Placed second on the squad with six passes defended. Ranked 12th on the team with 27 total tackles (21 solo). Recorded 2.0 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Collected four solo stops and an interception returned 34 yards versus Hampton (Oct. 9). Posted four unassisted takedowns and a pick against Edward Waters (Oct. 30). Tallied four solo tackles versus nationally-ranked Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 23). Recorded two tackles and an interception against North Carolina A&T (Sept. 25). Named to All-Independent Team by Phil Steele’s 2010 College Football Preview magazine.

2009 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Started at cornerback in all 11 games. Amassed 3 interceptions and 15 pass break-ups for a total of 18 passes defended, a mark no other Eagle has reached since 1996. Ranks 10th on the NCCU single-season passes defended list with 18. Collected 39 tackles (31 solo) with 2.0 hits for a loss and a forced fumble. Recorded season-best 9 tackles (8 solo) with a stop for a loss and a pass deflection at Duke (Sept. 26). Posted 5 pass breakups and an interception against Central State (Oct. 31). Tallied 6 takedowns, an interception returned 25 yards and a pass breakup versus Morehead State (Sept. 19). Contributed 6 solo stops and a pass deflection at No. 9 Appalachian State (Oct. 10). Recorded 4 solo tackles, 2 pass breakups, an interception and a forced fumble at Hampton (Sept. 5). Chalked up at least one tackle in all 11 games. Named to All-Independent Team by Phil Steele’s 2009 College Football Preview magazine.

2008 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Earned starting role at cornerback as a red-shirt freshman. Topped Eagles with 9 passes defended, including team-highs of 5 pass break-ups and 4 interceptions. Amassed 82 interception return yards with returns of 20, 30 and 32 yards. Placed 11th on the squad with 24 tackles. Enjoyed best overall outing at Presbyterian (Oct. 11) with a season-best 7 tackles (3 solo), an interception returned 30 yards, a pass break-up and a fumble recovery. Recorded 6 takedowns with an interception returned 20 yards vs. Winston-Salem State (Nov. 15). Returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown to go along with 2 pass break-ups and a tackle against Edward Waters (Nov. 1). Contributed 5 tackles at Coastal Carolina (Oct. 18).

WEST LAKE HIGH SCHOOL 
Named First-Team All-Conference (SMAC) as a corner back. Also lettered in track. Ranked among top 50 in the nation in the indoor 55-meter dash. All-State 4x100 and 4x200 relay runner.
