2009 - JUNIOR SEASON
Played in all 11 games, including 10 as a starter. Led the Eagles’ ground game with NCCU’s 14th-best single-season rushing effort of 732 yards. Topped the team in all-purpose yards with 873 (79.4 per game). Squad’s third-leading scorer with 48 points on 8 rushing touchdowns. Placed third on the team with 20 receptions for 143 yards. Rushed for a season-high 100 yards and 2 touchdowns on 26 carries versus Central Methodist (Oct. 17), adding 38 receiving yards on 4 catches for a season-best 138 all-purpose yards. Ran for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns against Central State (Oct. 31). Tallied at least 30 rushing yards and one reception in all 11 contests.
2008 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Ranked second on the squad in rushing with 449 yards. Topped the Eagles with 3 rushing touchdowns. Averaged 4.1 yards per carry and 40.8 yards per game. Caught 3 passes out of the backfield. Rushed for a season-best 95 yards on 12 carries vs. Edward Waters (Nov. 1). Ran for 88 yards and a score on 16 attempts vs. Savannah State (Nov. 22). Against rival North Carolina A&T (Oct. 4), posted 55 yards on 12 carries, including 2 touchdowns (25 yards, 5 yards).
2007 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Topped Eagles in rushing with 598 ground yards and three touchdowns on 150 carries as a rookie. Voted as the Whitney Young Classic Offensive MVP by amassing 116 rushing yards and a touchdown on 24 carries against Elizabeth City State (Sept. 15) inside Giants Stadium, while adding three receiving yards and a 14-yard kickoff return for 133 all-purpose yards. Rushed for a season-high 127 yards on 20 carries at Western Kentucky (Oct. 27).
EASTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
Selected as 2005 Gainesville Sun High School Football Player of the Year as a senior. As a senior, rushed for 675 yards and 10 touchdowns on 115 carries, and caught 23 passes for 422 yards and seven touchdowns. Also recorded 81 tackles, including eight tackles for a loss, and four interceptions. Named All-State in football and basketball. Team won 5A basketball championship, the first in school history, as a senior.
