2011: Competed on 35 games for the mighty maroon, where she started in 35 … For the second consecutive season, the catcher was second in slugging percentage at .313 with 11 rubs, 27 hits and eight RBIs on 99 times at bat … Notched the second triple of the season … From the field Searls in fifth in at .921 percent with 101 putouts, 27 assists and 139 chances … caught 13 opponents stealing bases on 52 attempts … Notched a season-high outing on Feb. 25 with one run, two hits and two RBIs on four occasions at bat in a 3-4 loss to Delaware State.
 
2010: Participated in 40 games, where she started in 39 ...  Was second on the team with a .337 batting average by scoring 13 runs and whacking 34 hits ... Searls 34 hits made her second on the team ... Hit six doubles and two triples last season ... Went .465 in slugging percentage ... Was third on the season in on base percentage at 39 percent ... Notched a .931 field percentage with 92 putouts ... Defensively caught 19 runners stealing bases ... Provided two three hit and three RBI in two games ... Hit a perfect game at Winston-Salem State on March 23 with three hits, three runs and three RBIs ... Seized her second season outing with two runs, three hits and three RBIs against South Carolina State on Feb. 28.
 
2009: Appeared in 46 games for NCCU, where she started in all 46 ... Was third on the team in batting average with a .278 after going 30-for-108 ... Scored 13 runs with four doubles, one triple and 14 RBIs ... Went 2-for-3 in stolen bases ... Notched a .956 fielding percentage with 99 putouts, 54 assists and seven errors ... Hit above .300 in four contests, including .500 in her first game at Charleston Southern (Feb. 6) ... Hit a season-high two RBIs in three games ... Had her best outing against Winston-Salem State (Feb. 24), where she was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with one run and one RBI ... Her three hits were a season-high ... Got a hit in three consecutive games twice during the season (Feb. 15-17 and April 13-15) ... Earned her only triple against UNC Wilmington (April 22).
 
High School: Attended Guajome Park Academy ... Was the starting varsity catcher for three years ... Was the team captain from 10th-12th grade ... Earned First Team All-League honors during her junior campaign ... Was fifth in the county in batting average during her junior season ... Currently holds the third place spot for batting average in the county ... Was also the starting guard for the girls’ basketball team during her junior and senior seasons ... Was a three-time member of the All-Academic Team.
