BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Three North Carolina Central student-athletes were named this week's Northeast Conference Golf Prime Performers on Thursday.

Nico Tucker, Sanaa Carter and Aubree Clements were recognized for their recent performances on the golf course. Tucker tied for 19^th out of 80 golfers at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate men's tournament on April 6-7 with an average score of 72.3 through three rounds.

Both Carter and Clements delivered solid outings at the UNC Challenge Cup women's tournament on April 4. Carter tied for 26^th and Clements tied for 34^th in a 71-player field with scoring averages of 75.0 and 76.5, respectively, across two rounds.

The NCCU men's and women's teams will compete in the NEC Championships later this month in Ellicott City, Md. The women's tournament is set for April 17-19 while the men's tournament is scheduled for April 24-26.
