DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central will take on No. 8 Oklahoma in its final non-conference road women's basketball game of the season on Monday, Dec. 22. The SEC Network+ will livestream the 1 p.m. contest, which will be held at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla.
Oklahoma will be the third nationally-ranked team the Eagles will see this season. They opened the season against North Carolina on Nov. 3 and traveled to South Carolina on Dec. 7.
NCCU has tangled against 12 nationally-ranked teams since becoming a full member of the MEAC in 2011-12, including six squads since the beginning of the 2024-25 season. The Eagles were on the road all 12 games.
The Eagles (2-9 overall) are coming off a 61-51 triumph over Queens (N.C.) on Wednesday (Dec. 17), their first non-conference road win over a Division I opponent since defeating Winthrop 76-71 on Dec. 20, 2024.

Morgan Callahan, who totaled 19 points and 10 rebounds in the win, is the Eagles' catalyst. The double-double was her third this season and the 22
nd of her career.
Callahan, the MEAC Preseason Player of the Year, tops the Eagles in points (11.7 ppg) and rebounds (7.0 rpg). Eagles' guard
Najah Lane leads the MEAC in assists (4.3 apg).
Oklahoma (11-1 overall) is on a 10-game win streak, its second longest in program history. The Sooners are led by freshman guard sensation Aaliyah Chavez, who leads the team in points (18.8 ppg) and co-leads in assists (4.2 apg). Oklahoma center Raegan Beers averages a double-double – 18.1 points and 10.8 rebounds.
This will be the last game for the Eagles before the Christmas Holidays.
