The Eagles (0-1 MEAC, 2-13 overall) will play their second game in Baltimore in three days. They are aiming to become the first opponent this season to win at Hill Field House, where the Bears (1-0 MEAC, 8-8 overall) are unbeaten in six games. The Bears have already matched last season's win (8) total.
NCCU is coming off a tough 69-66 loss to Coppin State in Saturday's MEAC opener. The Eagles nearly won after rallying from a 13-point deficit in the third period. A 28-11 run gave the Eagles a 66-62 lead in the fourth period but Coppin State finished with a 7-0 run, including the game-winning three-pointer with a little over a minute remaining.

Morgan Callahan and sophomore guard 
Kyla Bryant were dynamic against Coppin State. Callahan recorded a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds and Bryant nearly had a double-double with 17 points and nine assists. 
Both standouts sparked the Eagles' second half comeback. Callahan scored 13 of the Eagles' 28 points during the second-half run and Bryant scored two straight three-pointers and a layup to give the Eagles the four-point lead.
The Eagles will face a Morgan State squad that edged South Carolina State at home 55-54 for their second consecutive win and fourth in the last five games. Naya Ojukwu, making her season debut, knocked down two free throws with 20 seconds left to clinch the comeback for the Bears, who trailed 48-39 with over five minutes remaining. Ojukwu tied Tamaria Rumph for team-high scoring honors with 13 points.
