J'Mari Taylor has been named HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW. Taylor, a redshirt-junior from Charlotte, N.C., amassed 146 multi-purpose yards in the Eagles' 31-24 victory over Alabama State in the Orange Blossom Classic.
He carried the ball 24 times for 128 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown. Taylor scored the first and second touchdowns of the game on runs of one and five yards.
Taylor will be highlighted on the nationally syndicated sports talk show BOXTOROW with Donal Ware, which airs on radio stations across the
