DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University student-athletes have combined to achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.20, following the fall 2023 semester.
 
Out of 14 teams, 13 boast a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. A announcement of individual team academic highlights will once again be revealed at NCCU's annual Eddie Awards near the end of the 2023-24 academic year.
 
The Eagles continue to soar both in competition and in the classroom with 190 student-athletes posting a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall of 2023, including 40 of those having 4.0 GPA's.
 
Collectively, 188 NCCU student-athletes have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher with 19 of those being a 4.0 GPA's.
