Adrian Olivo, as the 14th-ranked Eagles cruised to a 55-14 home victory over Delaware State University in the final game of the regular season inside O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium.

Richard, a senior from Belle Glade, Florida, broke NCCU career records for yards of total offense (10,704) and pass completions (695) as he completed 19-of-21 passes for a career-high 386 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 35 yards and a score. Richard surpassed the career standards set by Earl Harvey from 1985-88.
Olivo, a senior out of Plant City, Florida, became NCCU's all-time leading scorer by tallying 13 points on Saturday for 281 career points, while also breaking the career record for extra-point kicks with 149. He eclipsed the marks set by kicker Brandon Gilbert from 2004-08.
As a team, the Eagles registered 407 passing yards and 262 rushing yards for 669 yards of total offense against the Hornets, the most by NCCU since collecting 676 total yards on Sept. 17, 2016, versus Saint Augustine's. The NCCU record is 684 total yards against Bowie State on Oct. 30, 1982. The 407 passing yards represents the sixth-most by the Eagles and the highest passing figure since the aforementioned 2016 triumph.
