Necole Hope and sophomore
Tianna Carter both produced season-high points totals for the North Carolina Central University women's basketball team in a 113-58 road loss at University of Nebraska on Saturday afternoon.
Hope poured in a team-high 18 points while Carter canned 15 points to go along with a team-best seven rebounds. They both hit two 3-pointers for the Eagles.
The Cornhuskers made 14 three-pointers on the way to their fourth win by more than 50 points this season.
Sophomore Jaz Shelley made Nebraska's first trey to cap a 10-0 run to start the game as the hosts led from the beginning. Shelley finished with a triple-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Nebraska (5-0) remained undefeated on the season while NCCU (0-4) stayed winless.

Paris McBride chipped in seven points on 7-of-8 precision from the free throw line while topping the Eagles with three assists.
The Huskers has five players reach double-digit points and they made over half of their shot attempts as Nebraska topped the 100-point total for a third time in five contests this season.
NC Central will play one more road game before Thanksgiving, visiting James Madison University on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
