DURHAM, N.C. — The fifth-seeded North Carolina Central University women's basketball team earned its best seed since joining the MEAC and will need to knock off fourth-seeded North Carolina A&T State University for a third time this season in order to advance to the semifinals of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament for the first time in program history.
