THE GAME: NCCU arrives to Norfolk seeking its first postseason win since transitioning to D-I. In 2014, NCCU finished eighth and fell to nine seed Howard 74-59 in the opening round. THE OPPONENT: UMES is led by three all-conference selections, including defensive player of the year, 6-4 junior Alexis Udoji. Senior guard Jessica Long joins Udoji on the All-MEAC third team, and freshman Moengaroa Subritzky was named All-Freshman. THE LEADERS: NCCU senior forward
Racquel Davis finished the regular season ninth in scoring (13.8 ppg) and second in rebounding (9.3 rpg) in conference. Udoji finished third in field goal percentage (50.9) and fourth in rebounding (8.1 rpg).
