Vanessa Taylor, who just coached her 600th game as a collegiate head coach on Saturday, will be looking to guide the Lady Eagles to a second straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) win when the Lady Eagles entertain Howard University in McDougald-McLendon Arena at 5:30 p.m.
Fans, who cannot attend the game can follow the game online with live video (PPV) and audio (free) available on the NCCU Sports Network. Jonathan Duran and Mike Wood will be on the air with the play-by-play. NCCU sports information will also provide live stats.

The Lady Eagles, who won their MEAC opener for only the second time (2013-14), will be trying to start 2-0 in the league for the first time since joining the MEAC in 2010-11. Junior

Vanessa Taylor, who is in her 22nd year overall as a head coach, coached her 600th career game on Saturday (319 wins, .533 win percentage).
HOWARD (0-9, 0-1) remained winless on the young season after losing to preseason favorite North Carolina A&T, 88-70, in its MEAC opener Saturday. Despite the winless record, the Bison have one of the league's top performers as senior center Victoria Gonzalez leads the MEAC with 18.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Gonzalez is a preseason All-MEAC honoree for a second straight year. Junior forward Sydni Johnson makes Howard's frontcourt formidable, adding 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. The Bison have been plagued by a league-worst 23.2 turnovers per game. Howard defeated NCCU by five (70-65) last season in Washington, D.C. and is 6-0 all-time versus NCCU.
