DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University women's basketball team begins a three-game road swing in the "Upcountry" region of South Carolina over the next seven days with a non-conference tilt at Wofford College in Spartanburg on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Maya Jackson both bucketed season-high point totals of 17 and 12 points, respectively. Dixon leads NCCU with 11.9 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game. Jones has scored in double figures each of her last three games to increase her scoring total to 9.7 points per game, which goes along with her team-high 2.9 assists per game. Dixon notched a double-double against Wofford last season but the Lady Eagles committed 22 turnovers and shot 35-percent compared to 45-percent by the Terriers in losing the game by 14.
WOFFORD (2-7) picked up a 69-58 win over NAIA foe Bluefield (Va.) College on Sunday to improve to 2-1 at home. Senior Jordan Frazier led the Terriers with a season-high 19 points. Junior Kentra Washington paces Wofford with 11.3 points and 2.0 assists per game. Ashton Fleming (9.8 points/game), Frazier (8.9), Maria Corella (8.0) and Chloe Wanink (8.0) give the Terriers a balanced offense. Fleming (7.4 rebounds/game) and Washington (6.0) top Wofford on the backboards. Washington (20 points), Chanel Stokes (17) and Fleming (11) all scored in double digits as the Terriers knocked off the Lady Eagles last season, 69-55.
