VANCOUVER, British Columbia (www.NCCUEaglePride.com) - The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League announced today (April 20) the free agent signing of former North Carolina Central University lineman Jovan Olafioye.

A 6-6, 325-pound native of Detroit, Mich., Olafioye was a two-year starter on the NCCU offensive line during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

He transferred to NCCU from Grand Rapids Community College.

Following his NCCU career, Olafioye returned to his hometown to attend a Detroit Lions mini-camp in the spring of 2009.
