Final Stats

ORANGEBURG, S.C.-- South Carolina State women's tennis team dominated the Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central University, 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the SCSU Tennis Courts.

In singles No. 1 action Fanni Friscka defeated Kateryna Chorna 6-3, 6-3. The No. 2 singles was Daria Sekerina as she defeated Ashley Rogers 6-1, 6-1. In the No. 3 singles Tatiana Velasquez fell to Aniko Kiss 6-2,6-2.

Teammate Maria Medina was swept by I-Chunn Amey in the No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0. In the No. 5 singles Iveta Blodniece defeated Maritsann Sinclair 6-0,6-1, and for the No. 6 singles Tatiana Varela defeated Antionette Spain (6-1,6-0).

The Lady Bulldogs also swept the Lady Eagles in the doubles action.
