GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Spartans of UNC-Greensboro defeated the Lady Eagles in a softball doubleheader on Tuesday, 14-0 and 11-0, in Greensboro, N.C.

NCCU's Ashanti Stroud singled down the third base line and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Then back-to-back walks loaded the bases, but the Lady Eagles could not connect on advancing the runners as two batters struck out leaving three stranded.

UNC-Greensboro got on board first in the bottom of the second inning, as Furness singled then advanced to third base. Olenderski singled to score Furness, then Akiyama scored on a fielding error by the left fielder.

In the bottom of the third, UNCG Laura Olenderski's grand slam kicked off back-to-back-to-back home runs, followed by Ausley and Moses to extend the lead to 9-0.

In the bottom on the fourth, UNCG added five more runs before closing the game winning 14-0.
