RALEIGH, N.C. - The Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central University fell to the Seahawks of UNC-Wilmington 12-0 and 10-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Oakwood Park in Raleigh, N.C.

In game one bottom of the first the Lady Eagles loaded the bases on a single by Ashanti Stroud followed by a double from Michelle Ishida. Andrea Searls then advance to first on a walk, but that was all the Lady Eagles could do as Tia Kirby flied out to left field.

In the top of the third the Seahawks only got one run to score from an RBI double from Carley Hughes to score Katie Kisner. In the top of the fourth, UNCW took a 5-0 lead on a home run from Katie Houmard to start the inning off. The Seahawks took advantage on NCCU three errors.

The bottom of the fourth NCCU had a one, two, three inning.

With the Lady Eagles defensives changes, UNCW capitalized on a seven run inning five hit inning as Hughes smacked a three RBI double to left field to extend the Seahawk lead.

In game two UNCW started off from the first game. The Seahawks scored their runs in the first three innings, leading 10-0.

NCCU's Michelle Ishida singled to right field and was brought in on an Andrea Searls triple to centerfield. Searls then came home as Tia Kirby notched an RBI single.

The Seahawks shut out the Lady Eagles in the final inning winning, 10-2.
