Final Stats

BOONE, N.C. - North Carolina Central University visited the Mountaineers of Appalachian State University on Thursday afternoon and lost 6-1, in women's tennis.

At No.1 singles, Kateryna Chorna picked up the only win of the day for the Lady Eagles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Bean. Heater Prior defeated Ashley Rogers 7-5, 6-2 at the No. 2 slot while Fernandez earned her victory at No. 3 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Tatiana Velasquez.

No. 4 singles Olivia Stannard cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Maritsann Sinclair.

Linday King also worked quickly at No. 5 with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Maria Medina.
