CARY, NC - The North Carolina Central Men's Tennis team fell to the Spartans of Norfolk State University, 4-3 on Saturday afternoon.
Andres Perez defeated Peter Virakora 3-6, 6-3 and 1-0, at the No. 3 singles. Teammate Trey Chatman breezed by his opponent at the No. 4 spot winning 6-0, 6-1, while Alejandro Espitia didn't break a sweat as he won his No. 5 singles match against Jonathan Sesson 6-0, 6-0.
In the doubles match the No. 2 team of Fabara/Chatman def. Roff/Cooper winning 8-4.
Norfolk State took the three singles matches from the Eagles, winning the one, two, and six singles.
