WINSOTN-SALEM, N.C. - North Carolina Central University men's tennis team earned victories in five of six singles matches and a trio of doubles matches on Sunday afternoon at the WSSU Tennis Complex as they defeated the Winston-Salem State University Rams 6-1 in non-conference men's tennis action.

N.C. Central earned victories in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth singles matches.

Jack Waissen won his match 6-3, 6-2. Teammate Andres Perez won his No.2 singles 6-3, 7-5.

The Eagles lone lost in the match was the No. 6 singles Jermaine Byrd losing to Joab Odera 8-3.
