CARY, N.C. - Megan Lambertz had two triples and drove in three runs to lead visiting Delaware State to a 13-3 win over North Carolina Central University on Saturday afternoon in a single game at Thomas Brooks Park.

DSU (2-0) jumped on the score board with three runs in the first inning, four runs in the third and forth innings and two runs in the fifth inning. NCCU got on the board in the fifth inning on an RBI single by Sophia Blue to score Tia Kirby, who led off the inning with a single.

NCCU (0-6) then rallied to score two more runs at the end of the fifth. Nadia Mortea and Blue scored for the Lady Eagles.

NCCU's pitcher Kristen Schooler was charged with the loss. Schooler surrendered 13 runs on 10 hits and finished the game striking out one.

Delaware State Brittney Ruark earned the victory for the Hornets. Ruark finished with two strikeouts.
