CARY, N.C. - The Delaware State University Hornets defeated the Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central University 14-0 and 9-0.

In game one, the Hornets took a 6-0 lead on a double by Ashley Waters. The Hornets put together seven-run inning in the fourth innings.

In game two the Hornets got out of the gate quickly and never looked back. DSU scored runs in each of the first three innings, one in the first, five in the second, and three in the third.

Ashley Henderson struck out three DSU batters in the game two loss.
