BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell University broke open a 4-1 game by scoring four runs in the seventh inning and two more in the eighth as the host Camels cruised to a 10-1 victory over North Carolina Central University on Tuesday night at Taylor Field in Buies Creek, N.C.

NCCU junior center fielder Oliver Jenkins had a stellar performance at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double and a stolen base. Freshman shortstop David Scott added two hits, while Brian Brice, Robert Landis and Kyle Davis also singled for the Eagles.

Brandon Scott topped the Camels offense by hitting 3-for-5 with two RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Colin Parker scattered seven hits without allowing an earned run and struck out six batters in 6 2/3 innings on the mound to earn the victory.

Campbell (10-17) recorded 10 runs on 14 hits, while NCCU (6-18) had nine hits, but continued its fielding misfortunes with three errors.
