Final Stats

CARY, N.C. - Noel Belk and Kat Rivers each had a triple and drove two runs to lead visiting Lenoir-Rhyne College to a 12-1 win over North Carolina Central University on Friday afternoon in a single game at Thomas Brooks Park.

LRC jumped on the score board with one run in the first inning, six runs in the second and five runs in the third inning. NCCU got on the board in the fifth inning on an RBI single by Ashanti Stroud to score Michelle Ishida, who led off the inning with a single.

NCCU's pitcher Kristen Schooler was charged with the loss. Schooler surrendered 12 runs on 14 hits and finished the game with three strikeouts.

Lenoir-Rhyne's Meredith O'Conner earned the victory for the Lady Bears. O'Conner finished with seven strikeouts.
