LINCOLN, PA -- North Carolina Central University senior guard Jennifer Hukill broke the school's single-game record with nine three-point field goals to lead the Lady Eagles to their first road win of the season, a 67-62 victory over Lincoln University of Pennsylvania on Friday.

Hukill, a 5-6 native of Greensboro, N.C., scored a career-high 33 points on 10-of-21 shooting from the field, including 9-of-15 from long range, and 4-of-6 from the free throw line. After scoring 13 points before the break, the sharp-shooter got hot after intermission by connecting on 6-of-8 trifectas for 20 second-half points.

Hukill becomes the 11th Lady Eagle in school history to record 33 points or more in a game. She broke the single-game three-point field goal record of eight, previously held by Zakia VanHoose (vs. Winston-Salem State on Feb. 19, 2002) and Ardrina Porter (vs. USC-Aiken on Nov. 14, 1998).

NCCU (5-20) also received solid contributions from sophomore forward Latoya Bennett with 11 points and 11 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season, junior guard Tonia Roundtree with seven points, five boards and five steals, and junior point guard LaVonna Hailey with 11 assists.

Lincoln (5-13) was topped by Sharell McMillan with 21 points, while DeJuanna Mosley (18 points, 11 rebounds) and Tanina Cook (12 points, 10 rebounds) each posted double-doubles in the loss.

NCCU plays its final game of the season on Saturday, Feb. 16, against Livingstone College starting at 2 p.m. inside McLendon-McDougald Gymnasium in Durham, N.C. Lady Eagle seniors Casey Daniel and Hukill will be honored after the game.
