SAVANNAH, GA - North Carolina Central University men's golf newcomer Josue Garza finished in a tie for 11th place with a two-round score of 152 (+10) during the Savannah State University Tiger Fall Invitational on Nov. 13-14.
Garza followed up his day-one score of 75 (+4) with a second-round 77 (+6) to finish 10 shots behind the winner.
NCCU's Chris Winters responded from his first-round 81 with a day-two score of 74 (+3) to tie for 17th in the individual standings. Likewise, teammate Maylon James Fowler improved upon his first-round score of 90 with a 78 (+7) on day two to place tied for 38th.
